Inquiries from the Faroese Parliament
Written inquiries
All members of the Faroese Parliament can ask the ministers and the Faroese Prime Minister written inquiries according to the order of business. These inquiries should be answered in writing, presented verbally and discussed at meetings in the Parliament prior to 14 days after the question is approved at the Assembly.

Verbal inquiries
All members of the Faroese Parliament are allowed to ask the ministers and the Faroese Prime Minister verbal inquiries concerning public issues, when verbal questions are on the agenda in the Parliament– which is usually every second week. The inquiries should be declared to the ministers at least the day before at noon.
The ministers will provide an answer at the same meeting, but they have the right to ask the inquiry giver to ask the inquiry according to the regulations in § 53 in the order of business.

Verbal inquiries concerning § 52a in the order of business
According to § 52a in the order of business all members of the Faroese Parliament can ask the ministers and the Faroese Prime Minister short written questions concerning public issues. These questions should be answered no late than 10 days after the question was handed, and if the deadline is not made a written explanation should be made to why the question was not answered.
